Hi. I’m Cafui - a professional problem solver.

As a proud first-gen American, growing up in a multi-ethnic, Afro-Caribbean household lent me a unique upbringing that stretched from the hot sun of sub-Saharan Africa to the idyllic peace of rural, upstate New York.  Exposure to cross-cultural, multi-lingual experiences at an early age sparked an insatiable love for uncovering the tiny threads that connect us all.

This spark has led me from continent to continent in search of commonalities including a six-month stint across Argentina, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Chile where I got to dig into cultural insights and explore the connections between historical memory, poli-economic ecosystems, and female entrepreneurs.

Currently pursuing a dual MBA + MS in Design Innovation at Northwestern University, I’m deepening my learning in what I’m most passionate about — shaping culture through breakthrough innovations and bridging the connections between brands and people through masterful storytelling.
